A starter set of terms for custom products. Adjust deposits, approvals, pickup, shipping, returns and payment rules to your real business practices before publishing.
Quotes and orders
A quote request is not a binding order. Pricing, product details, quantity, artwork and schedule should be confirmed before production begins.
Artwork and approvals
Customers are responsible for reviewing names, dates, spelling, sizes and design details before approving production. Once a custom item is produced, changes may require a new item and additional cost.
Customer-supplied artwork
Customers should only provide logos, photos and artwork they are authorized to use. Casper Engraving may decline a project when the supplied content cannot reasonably be used or produced.
Custom product variations
Colors, engraving contrast, wood grain, slate texture, glass appearance and print placement can vary slightly due to materials, screens and production methods.
Returns and remakes
Because personalized items are made to order, ordinary returns may not apply. The final policy should state how defects, production errors, customer-approved errors and damaged items are handled.
